The szenario

A number of monkeys and racoons are sitting on a tree. Between two racoons is always one monkey, as shown on the picture above. The distance between each pair of racoons is so big that no racoon can hear what his neighbour is saying. But a racoon can hear what the monkey beneath him tells him. This results in quite a bit of confusion in the communication from the bottom of the tree to the top.
